Founded in 2023, Dark House was established to champion distinctive voices and provide focused, professional representation for writers and creatives working across publishing and screen.
The agency takes a selective and commercially aware approach to representation. We work closely with our clients to develop their work, strengthen its market positioning and identify the publishers, producers and industry partners best suited to each project. Andreas is the founder and managing director of Dark House Literary & Screen Agency. A lifelong reader and viewer of horror, dark fantasy and speculative storytelling, he established Dark House to create a specialist agency dedicated to representing distinctive work across publishing and screen.
His interest in genre storytelling has developed across both professional and academic contexts. His background includes Media Production Management, Mass Communications and extensive experience in media and higher education, giving him a particular interest in how stories are developed, positioned and communicated to audiences.
Through Dark House, Andreas represents a carefully selected list of writers and projects whose work demonstrates originality, craft, atmosphere and commercial potential. His approach is based on quality over quantity, with particular emphasis on work capable of making a distinctive contribution to the horror, dark fantasy and speculative fiction markets.
His focus is on developing lasting client relationships, supporting strong creative work and connecting distinctive literary and screen projects with appropriate publishing and industry opportunities.
