Founded in 2023, Dark House was established to champion distinctive voices in genre fiction and to provide focused, professional representation for authors and creatives working in darker forms of storytelling.
The agency takes a selective and commercially minded approach to representation. We work closely with our clients to develop their manuscripts, strengthen their market positioning and connect outstanding projects with the publishers, producers and partners best suited to them.

Andreas Charalambous
Andreas is the founder and managing director of Dark House Literary & Screen Agency.
A lifelong reader and viewer of horror, dark fantasy and speculative storytelling, Andreas established Dark House to create a specialist agency dedicated to representing exceptional work in these genres.
His interest in horror has developed across both professional and academic contexts. He has written on the genre throughout his studies, including during his undergraduate degree in Media Production Management, his postgraduate master’s degree in Mass Communication and his doctoral research.
Through Dark House, Andreas is focused on building a carefully selected list of authors and creatives whose work demonstrates originality, craft, atmosphere and commercial potential. His approach is based on quality over quantity, with particular emphasis on manuscripts that can make a meaningful contribution to the horror, dark fantasy and speculative fiction markets.
